Thank you Pastor Roberts for your simple messages of inspiration for us all and the reminder that we are not of this world therefore trust in I AM alone!
1. I'm not a pastor. I'm just a Christian with a keyboard. 😉 I've never been to seminary or been ordained or worked as a pastor.
2. Be careful with anything from BYU. Momonism is not Christianity, regardless of how insistent the Momons get about it being so. Rather, it's a manmade cult that adopts Christian-sounding words and ideas and redefines them into a works-based religion with no power.
This absolutely spoke to me. I've been so caught up in "what's going on the world", that it consumed me. Whatever happens, happens. I trust God. This doesn't mean that I'm not worried or scared - just that I know God has a plan for all of us and he loves us, and that's what matters.
I just quoted Jeremiah 17:5 the other day in reference to the dogged insistence of so many writers online that we MUST solve all these problems ourselves (and soon!). As opposed to we CAN'T solve these problems ourselves. Ever.
Yes, a lot is happening, and I usually pause to take a guess at what actually happened vs. what is being said happened as each event unfolds. Becoming agitated over it, however, is a bad idea, one that we should grow out of over time. The powers that be, human and otherwise, constantly seek to stir people up to weaken them. It is important to see how this works, and to not be taken in.
When you are no longer agitated this way (generally), you are in a place where you can talk about this process of incitement with others, that they might begin to see also what is being done and how they are affected. I've seen the good that can come out of doing so.
God!!!!!!
For the New Year of 2025, I was given two words to concentrate on with the deepest of Holy Spiritual import for the journey ahead.
MIRACLE
and
FAITH
This gift of words was confirmed for me today as I watched a Movie 🎥 taped on my DVR for The Advent Season that was aired on BYU TV 📺
“ I Can Only Imagine “
The end of this touching true story of redemption and forgiveness by Mercy Me listed this site:

Thanks for the kind words. A couple of comments:

oh but you ARE a minister all followers of I AM are!
The only credentials are your "fishing license" the 5 Solas!
YES! I know about Mormonism you are correct.
It indeed is an "instead of."
Their film is the message is all.
MERCY ME!
Yep I have received MIRACLES yet so undeserving.
I chatted with a Stephen who will be praying for me today on the anniversary of my 2 lumpectomies.
I go back for 2nd followup of mammogram and sonogram today, Fri. Jan 3.
My 3rd MRI scheduled Jan 10.
GOD bless you kind sir and thanks you for your prayers,
Serving I AM with you,
~Tha' Mabe
UPDATE: PRAISE BE TO GOD!
Another MIRACLE of one year with no malignancy noted on mammogram and sonogram.
Now asking for prayers that my MRI on January 10 comes back with no carcinoma stem cells discernible.
Rejoice!
BTW ... <grin> REJOICE!
One of my favorite words of Saint Paul ...
Consider where he was and what conditions were about to happen even yet he wrote:
~ Philippians 4:4-8
Indeed.
AMEN and AMEN!
Shalom, Shalom to you David!
Thank you David. Good to see you're back...
A nod to Dr. Sherri Tenpenny now wearing your sweatshirt today to my breast exam:
"I've read the final chapter
GOD PREVAILS"
and of course my tiny fish.
Just the reminder I needed - thank you!!🙏🏼✝️
Exactly. As Christians we are not to live for this world.

Yep. Our real enemy is spiritual, not human. And our real salvation is spiritual, not human.
~ Acts 16
This spoke to me from my devotions this morning.
2 Corintians 14:6-7, 11-2
2 Corintians 15:2
Psalm 19
I don't want to fill up the space. I'll let you look at them when you have a chance. They felt relevant for our times, too.
<*}}}< John 17; Romans 8; Hebrews 11; Acts 17:11; Colossians 3:1-17; 2 Timothy 2:12; James 5; Revelation 20-22
Jeremiah 17
So, the wonderful thing about the Bible is that everything is relevant for our times. 😀
Just read this excellent piece again of yours with a short comment.
My Pastor says there are NO coincidences for those in Christ but there are APPOINTMENTS ;>}
