In the West, we're free and drowning in our wealth and prosperity, but it's lulling us to sleep. We can't advance the Kingdom of God if we're not awake.
I am going to watch this movie this weekend. Thank you for the link. I think back to our most recent covid persecution in the US and how so many people turned back to God, especially when the churches were closed. Now that things are so-called "back to normal" the satanic lullaby is back. Such is the nature of humans to forget about their souls when their bodies are living easy. This persecution pressure is needed for growth in salvation. I see it in my own Church. Traditional Catholics (TLM) are being persecuted by the head of the Roman Catholic Church. Yes, the Pope is outlawing masses, Latin Mass Priests, refusing to allow TLM sects to buy/use diocesan churches. We are persecuted by our own Church! As a consequence, many Catholics are returning to the traditional rite and the only area in Roman Catholicism that is growing is in the TLM Churches. As the movie says, persecution, not freedom, leads to Jesus and God.
This is so true. I've had countless conversations over the last 3 years with people from all walks of life. Every single person, in one way or another said, "America will NEVER 'get it' until it's far too late to do anything about it." Why? We have had very little pain here and when we have just a little (increased cost of food or gas), we beg the slave owners (the government) to do something about it. So they do: they give more money to foreign governments, take away more freedoms, and increase inflation even more.
at least the wife and pastor in the film saw things here for what they are. For most of us, there's no place to go...and no plan to leave even if there was a respite.
What a powerful message. Truth is I have been lulled by the satanic lullaby but the good news is that the Holy Sprit is always present leading us and drawing us to Jesus our only hope in this life. Praise God for that.
The pandemic and all the craziness and control that ensued has drawn me closer and closer to God. I’ve almost finished the entire Bible (first time all the way through) and spending more time in meditation and prayer than ever before.
Awesome! Reading the Bible all the way through is a big accomplishment. It's important to understand the bigger arc of the whole story to understand how prophesy has been fulfilled and that God is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I take great comfort in the fact that the Bible describes God using a lot of VERY imperfect people to do some very amazing things. He loves you, as you are, warts and all.
Well - it is documented about the worship of mammon - is it not?
Some of us still know and we remember and we stand together in defense resolute.

Pray all wake up. I just saw a movie that may have similarities to what is happening today.
The film: 'Harrison Bergeron Movie'
If you see it, i'd like to know what you thought of it.
I have not seen it. What's it about and where can somebody see it?
You can watch it or download it free here;

“Lethargy and indifference are a greater threat than persecution.”
And yes. I had been lulled by the satanic lullaby. But I am forever grateful that the Lord awakened me.
