Merry Christmas
Thanks for the break. I needed some time to step back.
It’s December 23, two days before Christmas. I hope yours is quite merry and that you take in all the wonder that is God’s plan to redeem humanity through a baby, born to a teenage mother and father in a stable, in the dirt. Frankly, nobody had that plan on their bingo card in ancient Judea, which is one big reason they missed his coming. Clearly, the world’s Messiah should have had a more noble coming. But God chooses the humble and obedient over the proud, the rich, and the elite.
For the last several months, I pushed “pause” on Simple Christianity. There was a lot going on in my personal life and I simply needed a break. I plan to come back in 2026. Thank you for all your emotional support. I’ve had a couple of readers reach out and say, “You stopped writing. Is anything wrong?” To answer that question more broadly, no, nothing is wrong and it never was. Just the busyness of life.
I pray that you and your families are blessed in 2026.
Keep your focus on the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. To Him be the glory and honor forever.

Merry Christmas, David! Glad to hear you are doing well and I look forward to more of your excellent writings.
Good to see you back, David. We all need to focus and get our breath back. God is good, all the time. A blessed New year to you.
