Dating Old Testament Events
All you need is an eclipse.
A couple months ago, I was fortunate to see the total eclipse that happened in the USA, notably in Texas for me. It turns out that eclipses are good for dating archaeological events as well.
Here’s a new video from Joel Kramer that describes how we can date the beginning of construction of first temple, built by King Solomon, and even the Israelite exodus from Egypt.
Joel’s channel, Expedition Bible, is really well done and I’ve been blessed by it repeatedly. He’s got a great understanding of both the Bible and archaeology and knack for explaining them both to the rest of us. If you haven’t subscribed, I highly suggest it.
